“Off the charts!” “Moved to tears!” “Chillingly awesome!” “Incredibly inspiring!” These were just a few of the comments from this past weekend.

The “buzz” was in the air! The construction fence is up and the city of Costa Mesa gave us our Grading Permit. Yeah God! Thanks to all of you who were praying. This permit is a REAL and TANGIBLE answer to prayer. Thank you. Thank you, as well to LS Architects for guiding the process. You guys rock!

It’s my first time EVER using “green screen” technology. You WILL get a feel for the campus completion project, for the new auditorium, the outdoor amphitheater and the outdoor baptismal fountain.

Ever Feel Like Shouting?
All kinds of things make me want to shout! Anger, frustration, pain and stupidity.
But the BEST kind of SHOUTING is because I’m EXCITED, AMPED, STOKED, THRILLED, ENERGIZED!!! And right now, I feel like shouting for some incredibly positive reasons. Great stuff is HAPPENING!
Reason to Shout #1: This weekend, October 3 & 4, we will be celebrating at EVERY service hour our Groundbreaking for the completion of our 4.5 acre campus and our new permanent auditorium. YEAH God!!!
(Weekend service times: Sat: 5:30 p.m. and Sun: 8:30, 9:30, 10:00, 11:00 & 11:30 a.m.)
Reason to Shout #2: Watch this video, see how God is at work. A miracle is about ready to be unleashed at our church. This is our time, others have come before us and that was their time, this is our time, our KAIROS.
Reason to Shout #3: All Church Day of Prayer & Fasting, Thursday, October 1. Together, we will be praying for one another as we each go before God over the next 7 days and make our commitment of faith and sacrifice with our finances. We will be praying that God unleashes a miracle through us.
There are moments in life where God gives us an opportunity to do something that will affect all history for all eternity, this IS one of those times. I feel like shouting praises to our God!

Small Groups Launching this Fall
There is nothing better than experiencing community! That’s why we are starting new groups in October. If you have ever wanted to meet new friends, get connected and grow your relationship with the Lord this is your spot.
We have groups for couples, men and women on campus or in homes all thru out Orange County, everyday of the week. Some groups study a book, or the message on the weekend and study the Bible.
No matter what you choose, you’ll find a group of people that will become like family and that you can share life with this season.

KAIROS Information Desserts
Those of you who have been a part of The Crossing for a while now, will remember me saying on more than one occasion,
“I’m PUMPED! I’m FIRED UP! I feel like our best days are ahead of us. The best is truly yet to come. I REALLY and TRULY believe that God IS ABLE to do immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine…and I believe we ARE going to see evidence of that very thing right here at The Crossing!!!”
Our church has experienced an incredible season of ministry through our 08/09 ministry year. This has been the best year ever in the history of The Crossing, for life change, for baptisms, and for growth, spiritual and numerical. It’s FLIPPIN Amazing! God is moving in our midst.
Yet I consider the month of September 2009 to be our MOST important month ever as a church. The stakes are SKY HIGH. We’re PACKED. We desire to make room for more people who need Jesus. The city says our temporary tent structure has to come down by the fall of 2010. This issue before us is HUGE.
I want to share with you, how you can be a part of A MIRACLE of God. I deeply desire for you to be a part of what God is doing. I do not want you to miss out. Therefore I will be hosting KAIROS Information Desserts at these times and at these locations:

Time keeps on slippin....
Do you like music? I wonder, what kind? Pop? Classical? Classic Rock? R&B? Jazz? Rap? And do I need to even ask, Country? Tell me, does anyone really like Country? J
No matter your musical preference, most of us have heard the Steve Miller Band and their song, “Fly Like an Eagle”. There’s that chorus…once you hear it, you can’t get the tune and the words out of your head, (go ahead, right now, sing with me…)

It’s true, time does slip and for that reason we both know, time is precious! You only get so much time. Everyone has the same amount of time. You can’t buy more time. Once time is gone, you can’t retrieve it. Time is a BIG DEAL and it does easily “slip into the future”. So let’s not waste it, it’s “time” to invest it!
The good news is that our future can be WAY BETTER than our present! In fact, as a church, our best days are AHEAD of us. Do not miss this weekend…I can’t wait to share with you how God is presenting us with the opportunity to do something significant in this world. It is an opportunity to do something very special, something life-changing, even world-changing.
